Framing Art On A budget plan

I stumbled upon these fantastic posters at a garage sale as well as thought, “Great, all I have do is frame them up, exactly how difficult can that be?!”

Then I got my great discover house as well as rapidly scanned the Web for a ready-made frame. Unfortunately, I found my fantastic pieces needed something custom, making the job somewhat much more of an investment than I was hoping for. Still, I understood that if I didn’t act, this incredible artwork would spend as much as six months kept under my bed, while my blank walls continued to gaze accusingly at me.

The solution? Skipping the customized frame as well as having a customized matte made instead. I selected a easy Ikea Ribba frame in white (70cm x 100cm, $30), as well as had a custom, acid-free matte made at DeSerres in black ($25). overall cost: $55. A fraction of what I was quoted by the framer!
